Former Walsall postmistress Jess Kaur, who was a victim of the Post Office Horizon computer system scandal, will be competing in the final of Britain's Got Talent as part of a choir of former employees who were wrongly accused of offences.
Hear Our Voice qualified for the final on Saturday night (May 31) as a result of a public vote and will join 11 other acts in the final, which will be shown on ITV and ITVX at 7pm.
The winner will be announced live, receive a cash prize of £250,000 and be offered the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Show.
Ms Kaur ran the Lazy Hill Post Office in Lazy Hill Road in Aldridge where it was subsequently discovered that she had been using a faulty pin pad on the system which took money out of people's accounts twice.
Mrs Kaur was accused of stealing £11,000 resulting in her being taken to court in 2009, but the charges were dropped.
She is now a member of the 40-strong Hear Our Voice choir, made up of some of the Horizon Scandal victims who were either wrongly convicted or accused of offences.
The Britain's Got Talent finalists include five acts who qualified after receiving a Golden Buzzer, five who qualified from the public vote and two wildcards picked by the public and the judges Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden of acts from the semi-finals.
The finalists alongside Hear Our Voice are dance group The Blackouts, Scottish singer-songwriter Vinnie McKee, 11-year-old guitar virtuoso Olly Pearson, singer Stacey Leadbeatter, opera singer and drag queen Jasmine Rice, fusion dance troupe Ping Pong Pang, comedian Joseph Charm, musician Harry Moulding and gymnast and dancer Binita Chetry, plus the two wildcards.
The Britain's Got Talent Live Final starts at 7pm on ITV and ITVX.
