Birmingham restaurants acknowledged by supporters for great service and quality food after being named best in region
Two Birmingham restaurants have been voted as the best in their field across the Midlands in the 2025 Deliveroo Awards.

Cleopatra's Kitchen in Shirley and Soi 1268 By Buddha Belly in Stirchley were among 65 award winners across the country to be acknowledged by Deliveroo in the 2025 Restaurant Awards.
First launched in 2018, Deliveroo’s Restaurant Awards celebrate and recognise the very best and most-loved restaurants across the country, from local independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes, cuisines, and flavours in between.
The categories were Regional Restaurant of the Year, Best Chinese, Best Pizza, Best Fish and Chips, Best Middle Eastern, Best Pan-Asian, Best Indian and Nepalese, Best Burger and American, Best Thai, Best Chicken and Best Breakfast and Coffee.
In the Midlands categories, nearly 20 destinations across Birmingham were shortlisted in each of the 11 categories and were up for the public vote.
More than 160,000 votes were cast by members of the public, with Cleopatra's Kitchen being named Best Middle Eastern restaurant in North England and the Midlands and Soi 1268 By Buddha Belly receiving the award of Best Thai restaurant in North England and the Midlands.
