Cameron Smith, 27, and his uncle Anthony Smith, 48, died after the car they were travelling in flipped over in Agadir on May 4. Anthony's son Tyrone was seriously injured in the smash and spent over a week in a Moroccan hospital.
The driver, who is British but had overstayed his visa, was uninjured but arrested at the scene and has appeared in court in connection with the crash and being over the limit.
Family friend Mike Ashley, from the Scotlands, told the Express & Star: "This has been such a harrowing time for the family. They have had no help from the Foreign Office. If it was not for a charity in Morocco run by an Englishman they would have never known about the crash. They would have been waiting at the airport for them.

"As it was Cameron's mother had a heart attack when she was told the news and spent several nights in New Cross Hospital. Normally, when someone British dies abroad the Consulate or Embassy are informed and the family are usually contacted by the Foreign Office but there has been none of that."
All three had taken out travel insurance before embarking on their holiday, which included fun in the sun and nightclubbing.
Mike said: "The bodies have no been repatriated and Tyrone is back home after spending over a week in a local hospital over there."
Mike's family and the Smiths became close when they met through Cameron, from Springfield, used to attend TT Elite football matches together.
He said: "They are such lovely people, no-one had a bad word to say about Cameron and they were popular figures around town."
Two weeks ago Mike launched a GoFundMe page which last night surpassed the £4,000 mark with 145 people donating.
He said: "We did not know what was needed when we started the page, but thankfully the travel insurance sorted out the bodies being flown back, but there will be funeral expenses.
"Cameron's funeral will take place next month and anything we have left will go into a trust fund for Cameron's three-year-old daughter."
The inquests of Cameron, and Anthony from Wolverhampton were opened at Black Country Coroners Court last Thursday. A local driver was arrested after the fatal crash on May 4.

Wolverhampton artist Reepa shared the fundraiser on his page, commenting: "RIP Camz. Please share, all support appreciated."
