'We want to see justice done' - Crooked House campaigners demanding answers from prosecutors

 They are urging them to make a decision on whether those under investigation for the fire at the famous pub in Himley on August 5 2023 will be charged.

Two days after the fire it was bulldozed and in the aftermath of both events, the Facebook group Save the Crooked House (Let's Get it Rebuilt) was formed - it has over 37 ,000 followers and with the help of former Dudley North MP Marco Longhi and Present Kingswinford and South Staffordshire MP Mike Wood took the fight to re-build the pub to Parliament.

Now, 21 months since the fire and the subsequent arrests of six people who were then bailed, one of the admins of the group, Paul Turner has written to the CPS to urge them to make a decision on whether to charge those arrested or not.

The owners of the pub, who were given an Enforcement Order to rebuild the pub appealed to delay it until the criminal case was completed.
