Traffic problems in Birmingham city centre after accident in Queensway tunnel

Traffic coming out of Birmingham is at a standstill after an accident in the Queensway tunnel 

Northbound traffic is queuing  through Bristol Street and across Belgrave Middleway as the A4400 through the  tunnel is currently blocked.

Motorists are being asked to plan ahead, allow extra time for their journey and use an alternative route if possible.
