It's set to be a weekend full of music, films and action across the region, with arenas, theatres, stadiums and parks all putting on big events.

The arenas will be rocking  across the region this weekend as legendary singers, local girls done good, comics with deadly timing and one of the most diverse music groups in the country take to the stage.

Meanwhile, for those wanting to get out and watch something in the open air, there will be hard hitting action, chances to watch a good film and people going the extra mile, while top names in British Wrestling will hit the mat.

We've taken a look at what's on across the region and picked out nine must-see events happening in the West Midlands for people to go and be part of.

Kylie Minogue - Tension Tour

Kylie Minogue will bring more than 35 years of hits to Birmingham's BP Pulse Live

It's set to be a night of hits from one of the biggest names in pop music as Kylie Minogue brings her Tension Tour to the BP Pulse Live on Saturday.

The show, which is the first of two nights at the venue near the NEC, will feature songs from "Tension II", a brand new collection of 13 songs, as well as all the Kylie classics, such as "Can't get you out of my head", "I should be so lucky" and "Locomotion".
