Walsall-born actor and electronic music pioneer Goldie may be shining on festival stages - but now a hidden piece of his past has been captured on film at a Wolverhampton tower block.

The pink artwork featuring the entertainer's 'tag' or sign is also featured in the graffiti network book series titled 'Old So Kool'.

It was created by rave scene pioneer Goldie, who also appeared in the 1999 James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough and BBC One soap EastEnders, in the basement of Hawthorn House in Clover Ley in Heath Town in 1986. Others to experiment at the same site at about the same time included well-known New York graffiti artist T Kid as the site was a popular haunt.
