Malakhi Ward, 19, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday (Wednesday) charged with taking a car without the owners consent in Dudley in April, this year.
Ward, of Osprey Drive, Dudley, pleaded not guilty to stealing a Nissan Qashqai on April 10 in Dudley.

When first charged with the car theft Ward was given bail with several conditions. He had a curfew between 7pm and 7am and not to go more than five miles from Osprey Drive. However, on May 3, he was arrested for breaking the conditions.
He was also charged with breaking his bail conditions and pleaded not guilty at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court.
Judge John Edwards KC told Ward: "Your trial will not be until August 2027. As you are on bail your trial will not be as urgent as those who are remanded in custody.
"I am sorry a long time away and I apologise for that but that is the way it is at the moment. Do not forget about the case and do not get in any alleged trouble in the meantime."
