Woman taken to hospital in serious condition after Tipton crash

A woman was taken to hospital after an accident in Tipton last night (Tuesday).

The single car accident happened on Bean Road at 10.30pm and two ambulances, a paramedic officer and trauma team responded.

A  West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “When ambulance staff arrived on scene they found a woman, believed to be the driver of the car, out of the vehicle and in a serious condition.

 “The team of medics worked quickly to assess her and administer trauma care to stabilise her condition. 

"The woman was then conveyed by ambulance, using blue lights and sirens, to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.”
