Man charged over robbery of car at Cannock nature reserve

A man has been charged in connection with a robbery at a nature reserve which saw a women's car stolen while she was out walking.

The car was stolen from Mill Green Nature Reserve on Lichfield Road on Saturday and led to Cameron Worrallo being arrested and charged with robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of a class B drug.

The 20-year-old from Walsall appeared before magistrates at Newcastle-under-Lyme Magistrates Court on Monday, where he was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing at Stafford Crown Court on Friday, June 27.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers continue to appeal for information relating to the incident. 

"Anyone with information should contact us on 101 quoting 673 of 24 May.
