The 56-year-old, who also celebrated his birthday at the weekend, was in conversation with the director of The Popular Conservatism (PopCon) group Mark Littlewood. 

The evening at Sedgley Conservative Club was attended by 60 invited guests including ward councillors and hosted by former West Midlands MEP Bill Etheridge.
