Sunday is shaping up to be a lively one, with gusty winds sweeping across the region.

While many will enjoy bright or even sunny spells, the Met Office says occasional heavy showers could drift in—especially for those living in northern and western parts of the area.

Despite the wind, it won’t feel too bad if you catch a break in the clouds today, with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 20°C.

As night falls, the breeze sticks around, bringing a scattering of sharp showers under clear skies. Temperatures will dip to around 8°C, making it feel fresher, but comfortably above freezing.

Looking ahead to Monday, things start off on a bright note, though the sunshine will gradually give way to increasing cloud cover.

The day will remain largely dry with the odd shower, but more persistent rain is set to push in from the west by evening. Expect highs of around 18°C, with winds continuing to whip through.

The midweek outlook stays unsettled. A band of rain is expected to move across the region between Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing strong gusts and damp spells. But by Thursday, things look set to calm down, with lighter winds and the return of sunshine and scattered showers.

So, while it won’t be wall-to-wall sunshine, there’ll be plenty of dry spells to enjoy—just keep an umbrella handy!
