Police appeal after passenger was threatened and attempted theft at Hednesford Railway Station
A traveller was threatened by a man who is suspected of trying to steal his phone at Hednesford Railway Station prompting an investigation.
British Transport Police detectives have released an image captured on CCTV of a man they want to speak to regarding the incident which happened on April 23.
The force said: "Just before 1pm on Wednesday April 23 a man on the platform was approached by another man who threatened to beat him up and take his phone.
"The man then pulled his hand back as if - about to hit the other man in an attempt to intimidate him."

Both men then got on the train before alighting at Cannock Railway Station.
The investigation officers would like to speak to the man in the image as they believe he may have information which could be helpful to the investigation.
