'It needs to be discussed more' - Dudley MP throws 'full support' behind prostate cancer fundraiser

MP Sonia Kumar joined forces with a number of businesses in Dudley and the area around it to raise over £1,000 for a cause close to her heart.

Tyre firm ALine held their first charity drive in support of Prostate Cancer UK, with a cavalcade of supporters and classic car enthusiasts making their way from the firm's Wellington Road base to the Stag Piston Club in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The day culminated in a raffle draw with prizes donated by generous local businesses including Norton Classic Club, Lovelock Motor Parts Ltd., BMTR Car Tyre Store, and Dudley M.O.T Centre.

Dudley MP Ms Kumar attended the event and  said: "One in eight men will get prostate cancer. 

"This was A Lines’ inaugural event and Mark the event organiser did a fantastic job 

"I fully support this charity drive and believe the cause needs to be discussed widely as a healthcare professional in my previous role."
