Barrie Smith, of Broomy Close, in Stourport, was given the order at Worcester Youth Court on Wednesday (21).

It prohibits him from entering any shop in Lombard Street if not accompanied by a responsible adult; entering any shop in Queens Road if not accompanied by a responsible adult; being with four named individuals in any public place. Those individuals cannot be named due to legal reasons.

West Mercia Police applied for the order following the youth's involvement in antisocial behaviour in the town resulting in complaints from residents and businesses that his behaviour was badly impacting the community.

The force said anyone who sees him breaching the order in future should report it to police as soon as possible online via its webpage Report a crime | West Mercia Police .

Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Wyre Forest Daniel Poucher said: “This a positive step towards tackling ongoing antisocial behaviour in Stourport-on-Severn.

“The local Safer Neighbourhood Team is continuing to work hard to support the community and address the issue by stopping those responsible. This behaviour is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.”
