Two charged after child exploitation team targets properties in Stafford

Two men have been charged with multiple offences - including exploitation - after officers carried out searches at two addresses in Stafford.

Officers from Staffordshire Police conducted searches at the properties yesterday morning (Thursday) and found drugs, a weapon, cash and mobile phones.

Tyrell Riggon, 23, and James Poyser, 26, both of Sidney Avenue in Stafford, have been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B (cannabis), possession with intent to supply a controlled Class C drug and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.

They are due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 23 May).

A 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A and Class B drug, arranging or facilitating the travel of another person with a view to exploitation, and requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour has been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
