Teenager rushed to hospital with 'potentially serious injuries' after being hit by car in Dudley

A teenager has been taken to hospital with "potentially serious injuries" after being struck by a car.

Ambulance crews were called to the collision on Kent Street in Upper Gornal, Dudley, shortly after 5pm on Monday (May 20).

A teenage male, who was the a pedestrian, was taken to hospital hurt.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) spokeswoman said: "Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the WMAS critical car attended the scene.

"Upon arrival we found a teenage male who was the pedestrian. He was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries. 

"He received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital under emergency blue light conditions for further treatment.”
