West Midlands Police have announced that two men have been arrested after patrol officers discovered a machete in the Wednesfield South area of Wolverhampton on Sunday evening.
The arrest comes after officers from the Wednesfield and Heath Town Policing group were patrolling around the area, before spotting the two males and engaging in a brief chase.
Both men were arrested following the pursuit, with officers discovering a machete. Both remain in custody.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "This evening, officers on patrol have arrested two males in the Wednesfield South area following the finding of a machete.
"The males were arrested following a brief chase and remain in custody."
Emergency services have been approached for more information.
