'Major disruption' in Sutton Coldfield due to police incident
Major disruption has been reported in Sutton Coldfield due to a 'police incident'.

Roads watchdog, West Midlands Roads, has warned of disruption on Aldridge Road, Streetly, Sutton Coldfield, due to a police incident on the route.
The incident was first reported at around 10.04am, with the group saying the route is experiencing disruption near to Bridle Lane.

The group said on X:" Aldridge Road, Streetly. Police incident on this route by Bridle Lane.
"Consider other routes as part of your journey."
It is unknown as of yet the severity of the incident, however, the road is currently closed in both directions.
Transport for West Midlands has said bus services 997, 934 and 937 have been diverted via: Queslett Rd East, Chester Rd and Foley Rd West due to the incident.
Emergency services have been approached for more information.
