The Vaisakhi procession will take place on Sunday, May 18 on the streets of Sandwell, marking the formation of the Khalsa in 1699.
The event is being coordinated by a number of volunteers to ensure inclusive collaboration across all local Gurdwaras.

Mr Raghver Singh, President of Gurdwara Baba Sang Ji, Sandwell, praised the 'positive strides' made under the new team’s leadership: "Working closely with them has brought many positive changes.
"All Gurdwaras are now actively engaged, their input is valued, and their support has been crucial in enhancing the Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan. We've also introduced digital tools such as QR codes for volunteers to register and for those wishing to make donations, helping streamline the entire process."
