Staffordshire Police have said that two teenagers have been arrested after they carried out a drugs warrant at a house in Cannock on Friday afternoon.

Officers attended the address at 1pm as part of an investigation into county lines drug dealing.

At the locations they found cannabis, cash and evidence of a dismantled cannabis grow inside the property.

Two teenagers, both from the Cannock area, have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug (cannabis).

Both teenagers remain in custody at this time.

Cannock local policing team chief inspector, Al Lyford, said: "This sends out a clear message.

"We are committed to carrying out proactive activity like this in our local communities, and we will continue to do all we can to disrupt the supply of drugs in our area."
