Bus passengers on Lichfield-Walsall route facing diversion for carriageway patching
Passengers using a bus service running between Walsall and Lichfield are facing temporary diversions due to road repairs.

The National Express West Midlands number eight service is being diverted via Pelsall Road in Brownhills due to carriageway patching work in Lindon Road and Clayhanger Road until next week. The service runs from Walsall to Lichfield via Rushall, Pelsall, Clayhanger, Brownhills and Burntwood.
The operator posted on social media platform X: "There is a diversion on Friday May 16th - Wednesday May 21st. Bridge Cross Road will be closed to facilitate highway repair and maintenance works. 8 To Lichfield From High Street: Queen Street, Chase Road, New Road, Cannock Road to normal line. To Walsall Reverse of above."
