Women treated by ambulance crews after car and lorry crash in Tipton

A woman was treated by ambulance crews after a crash in Tipton.

A car and a lorry were involved in the collision on Dudley Road at around 7.30am on Thursday (May 15).

One ambulance was sent to the scene and a woman was treated for injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

A spokeswoman added: "The driver of the car, a woman, was treated by crews for minor injuries and discharged at the scene."

Dudley Road was blocked off to motorists as a result of the crash but was later cleared.

National Express West Midlands services 11 and 11A, which run between Walsall and Dudley, were temporarily disrupted.

In an update to passengers on X, formerly Twitter,  at around 8.30am the regional bus operator said services were running as normal.
