The museum in Dudley will be opening its doors after hours on Friday, June 20 to welcome UK street food brand Digbeth Dining Club as part of its 2025 summer tour.
The tour allows the Birmingham-based brand to expand its offer of food, drink and entertainment into the Black Country and the event in June will combine the flavours of the club with the history of the museum.
As well as presenting DJs and a bar for the evening, there will also be nine food traders, including Birmingham and Black Country staples curry and Caribbean cuisine, from Charlie's Fried Chicken, Disco Fries, Flying Cows, Gyro Guys, South Birmingham Curry Club, Esmies Caribbean Fusion, Deathrow Sandwich, Pink Ladies Donuts and Urban Cheesecake.

The evening will also see the landmark 1950s Wolverhampton pub The Elephant & Castle, vintage fairground and Hobbs Fish & Chips shop open and trading throughout the evening, as well as a chance for visitors to enjoy the immersive experience of the museum.
Jack Brabant, director of Digbeth Dining Club, said: “We’re delighted to announce this new partnership with the Black Country Living Museum, which will see our two brands collaborate on a very special evening dining experience for visitors at the much-loved Midlands attraction.

“This will be a unique occasion where we’ll see the Black Country of old meet the best in contemporary food and drink and we’re especially looking forward to seeing what Black Country workers from the past 250 years including miners make of the latest street food creations.

“We know from delivering our hugely successful events across the Black Country that there is definitely an appetite for a high standard of street food along with cultural programming. We look forward to working with partners to develop the DDC offer in the region and meet this demand.”
David Middlemiss, deputy chief executive (Business Development) for the Black Country Living Museum, said: "The team at Black Country Living Museum is delighted to be part of the Digbeth Dining Club Summer Tour, as venues don’t come any more vibrant than our unique streets.
“It’s going to be amazing to welcome people to a night of award-winning street food like no other, where they’ll enjoy food and drink inspired by the past while celebrating the ever-developing Midlands food landscape."

The Digbeth Dining Club Summer Tour includes more than 40 street food events between May and September, including Black Country dates at The Waterfront in Brierley Hill on June 6 and July 11, Bantock Park in Wolverhampton on June 14, and Broadway North in Walsall on June 21.
