A man died and four other patients were taken to hospital following two fires at separate addresses in Bilston on Saturday, May 10.
Police say they are investigating a possible link between the two blazes.
Lunt Place

The first fire, at an address on Lunt Place, was reported at around 2.20am, with two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Hazardous Area Response Team responding.
On arrival, crews discovered four patients, the first of whom was a woman who was treated for potentially serious injuries and possible effects of smoke inhalation. She was later conveyed to the hospital.
Three more patients, a man, a woman and a teenage girl, were all treated for the effects of smoke inhalation and also conveyed to hospital.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "On arrival at the address on Lunt Place, crews found four patients. The first of whom, a woman, was treated for potentially serious injuries and the possible effects of smoke inhalation and was conveyed to hospital.
"Three more patients, a man, a woman and a teenage girl, were treated for the possible effects of smoke inhalation and conveyed to hospital."
Marbury Drive

A second incident took place on Marbury Drive at 2.37am on the same day, and saw an ambulance, two paramedic officers, the Hazardous Response Team and a critical care car attendant.
On arrival, emergency services personnel discovered one patient, a man in his 70s.
Tragically, it became apparent that nothing could be done to save the man, and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

The spokesperson said: "On arrival at Marbury Drive, ambulance staff discovered one patient, a man.
"Sadly, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save him, and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
