Update issued on Wednesbury house fire which led to four people being taken to hospital
Two people remain in hospital in a critical condition following a devastating house fire in Wednesbury.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of Holyhead Road, Wednesbury, at around 3.15am yesterday to reports of a two-storey house fire on the road.
On arrival, emergency services personnel discovered the house well ablaze, with four patients being found by ambulance service colleagues.
Among those found were a man and a woman, both aged in their 80s, who were taken to hospital in critical condition, and two men, both aged in their 50s, who were also taken to hospital, with one sustaining serious injuries, and one not serious.

Now, West Midlands Police have said that the man and woman who are in their 80s remain in hospital in a critical condition.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A man and woman, aged in their 80s, were taken to hospital where they remain in a critical condition.
"Two men, aged in their 50s, were also taken to hospital. One sustained serious injuries, although they're not believed to be life-threatening, and the other injuries were not serious."

West Midlands Police have confirmed that an investigation into the incident is still ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
The spokesperson said: "We're continuing to work with the fire service to establish the cause of the fire."
Three fire engines from Bilston, Tipton and Wednesbury responded to the incident, with the fire service still ongoing to establish the cause.

A West Midlands Fire Service spokesperson said: "Three fire engines from Bilston, Wednesbury and Tipton responded, the first arriving within three minutes of being mobilised.
"Four casualties received treatment at the scene and are believed to have been conveyed to hospital by attending paramedics. Work between fire investigators and police colleagues to establish the cause of the fire continues."
