Aspiring bakers at Wolverhampton College work to create tasty treats for national celebration of doughnuts.

There are tasty treats with all kinds of flavours and toppings on offer as trainee bakers at Wolverhampton College have been taking part in a national fundraiser all centred around doughnuts.

As part of National Doughnut week, which runs from May 10 to May 18, bakery students at the Wellington Road Campus have been working to turn out hundreds of different types of doughnut to raise funds for the Children's Trust, a leading charity for children with brain injuries.

National Doughnut Week, sponsored by CSM ingredients, was launched in 1992 and has raised a total of £1,147,546, with the annual event having supported The Children's Trust since 2005 and, to date, having donated £632,639 to the charity.
