Wolverhampton secondary school rapidly improving 'absolutely delighted' after recent Ofsted visit

Inspectors visited St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, Compton Road, Wolverhampton, on March 25 to undertake after a visit in 2022 found the school Requires Improvement.
In just three years, the school has made fantastic improvements - and was rated Good across the board.
The report, published this week, found that pupils have been able to “achieve well” thanks to consistent approaches to teaching and the curriculum the school has put in place.
Pupils were said to “know that the school’s expectations for their achievement and how they conduct themselves are high and consistent,” and how the school lives up to its values of “respect, service and aspiration”.

The report said: “Pupils appreciate the much-improved expectations of their behaviour. They know they can concentrate in lessons without interruption and that social times will be orderly.
