Live: House fire in Wednesbury - avoid the area as firefighters tackle a fifth Black Country blaze this weekend
West Midlands Fire Service is tackling a house fire in Wednesbury this morning (Sunday, May 11)
Fire fighters are urging people to avoid the area around Holyhead Road in Wednesbury as they tackle a blaze at a house.
It follows a double house blaze in Bilston yesterday in which a man aged in his 70s died - there is no known connection between the two incidents.
Yesterday West Midlands Fire Service also reported their attendance at a 'waste fire' in Kingswinford.
WMFS also assiisted National Highways West Midlands as they attended a vehicle fire on the M6 northbound between J6 & J7 between Birmingham and Great Barr this morning.
