Man taken to hospital with stab wounds after incident in Great Barr
A man was taken to hospital after a stabbing outside a pub in Great Barr.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Newton Road at 5pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 7) after reports of an incident near The Malt Shovel.
One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the trust’s critical care car attended the scene.

The police and amulance services have since confirmed that it was a stabbing, with a man in his 30s taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Councillor for Charlemont with Grove Vale, Les Trumpeter, reported the "large scale incident" on social media, saying armed police were also in attendance at the incident.
A photograph showed police officers and ambulance crews in the bus stop outside the pub.
A spokesperson for WMAS said: "One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the trust's critical care car attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to hospital."
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Newton Road, Great Barr at around 5pm yesterday to reports of a stabbing.
"A man in his 30s was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish what took place including reviewing CCTV and speaking to witnesses.
