Using an array of indicators including GPS, CCTV, dashcam footage, and mobile phone cell site analysis West Midlands Police intelligence officers presented their evidence to jurors at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Dale Francis, 37, and Daniel Tatters, 26, are on trial charged with the murder of Akashdeep Singh, three attempted murders of three seriously injured family members and arson.

Intelligence analyst Josie Taylor painstakingly recreated the route of the VW Golf which Francis is alleged to have driven Tatters from Stoke-on-Trent to East Park to set alight the house and  the return journey.

Miss Taylor 's exhaustive research was boiled down into a cohesive timeline with pictures and technical explanations for the jury.
