Wainwright, from Dudley, has been wanted on suspicion of attempted kidnap since last year.

West Midlands Police has been on the 33-year-old's tail since last summer. The police posted on Facebook: "If you know where he is, please call 999 or 101 with any information that could help locate him.

"To remain anonymous please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, tell them what you know, not who you are. Please quote crime reference 20/212232/24."

Ricardo Mendez

Wanted: Ricardo Mendez
Wanted: Ricardo Mendez

Ricardo Mendez fled the country after a shooting at MJ's Bar in Wednesbury in August 2023.

The 33-year-old from Walsall was present when a man was shot in the chest and then kicked in the face. Shaquile Blake, 30, was jailed for 34 years earlier this year for the shooting. Mendez was believed to have been with him during the shooting. Blake was caught after returning to Birmingham from Dubai, where he had flown after the shooting.

Mendez learnt from his friend's fate and stayed abroad to evade the long arm of the law.

West Midlands Police said: "We're working with various agencies to try and locate him, and we're keen to hear from anyone with information which could help us. You can contact us via Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101, and quote 20/703260/23."

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
