21-year-old man charged with Wolverhampton shop theft

A man has been charged after being arrested by officers called to a Wolverhampton retail park on Tuesday.

West Midlands Police have arrested and charged a man over a shop theft in Wolverhampton.

Nikesh Basnet, aged 21 and of no fixed abode, was remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 8 after being charged with theft from a shop.

The charge relates to an incident at Bentley Bridge Retail Park on April 27. 

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said the charge follows the arrest of a man on Tuesday, May 6, by officers who were called to the Bentley Bridge Retail Park.
