Three Dudley roads set to close to traffic for gas and grounds works

Three roads in Dudley are set to close to traffic to make way for gas main and ground repair works.

Dudley Council has given notice that three separate roads are due to close to make way for various works around the region.

The works are set to take place between May 5 to May 23, with diversions being put into place for each closure. 

See the list of closures, their closure date and their diversions below: 

Stocking Street, Lye. Stocking Street will be close to traffic for the purpose of gas mains repairs being carried out near or on the road. The order will come into operation on May 5 and will remain in place until May 12, or until the words are completed. No diversion in place is necessary.

Beacon Lane, Sedgley. Beacon Lane will close to traffic for the purpose of new gas and electrical connections being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on May 6 and will remain in place until May 23 or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. No diversions are necessary.

Dibdale Street, Dudley. The route will be close to traffic to make way for carriageway reconstruction works being carried out on or near the road. The order will come into operation on May 9 and will remain in place until May 19, or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. Diversions will follow Himley Road, Milking Bank, Dibdale Road, Highland Road, Salop Street, and vice versa.
