Medical emergency at Hednesford Town mars play-off final win

An air ambulance landed on the pitch at Hednesford Town moments after the Pitmen’s play-off final victory over Congleton Town.

A supporter was taken ill shortly after the full time whistle at Keys Park, with paramedics arriving swiftly on the scene. 

A full stadium evacuation was ordered following a pitch invasion by the jubilant Hednesford supporters, with the trophy lift delayed until further notice.

There will be no trophy presentation in the ground this evening.
