Off-road vehicle seized in Wolverhampton police action against nuisance behaviour

Police officers confiscated a vehicle and illicit drugs during an operation to clamp down on anti-social behaviour as the weather warms up.

In Bilston and East Park teams have been out along the canals following reports of scrambler bikes causing issues while in Low Hill, Bushbury and Fallings officers have been out on patrol in the area around Northycote Farm and woodlands.

In Tettenhall, Penn and Merry Hill officers seized a vehicle in Swanmore Close in Merry Hill which had no tax or insurance and was suspected to have been used for anti-social behaviour.

In a separate incident  a suspect who tried to evade officers in Blakenhall was successfully detained and arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs. The packets seized by Ettingshall, Blakenhall and Spring Vale officers will be forensically checked before being destroyed.

Off-road bikes used for anti-social behaviour can be seized and crushed. 

In addition PCSOs from St Peter's, Park and Graiseley Team paid a visit to residents at McCalla House in Laburnum Street in Merridale to offer tips on crime prevention and how to avoid scams.

 Meanwhile officers with Wednesfield and Heath Town Team popped to the recent Junior Park Run at Wednesfield Park to cheer on all the runners and volunteers.
