JAILED: The criminals behind bars who were finally brought to justice in April
April was a bad month for this assortment of criminals from the Black Country and Staffordshire who' will not be seeing the light of day for years after finally facing justice.

Sellick, Sanbrook and Falconer

After one of the biggest trials of the year at Wolverhampton Crown Court four men were found guilty in connection with the murder of Connor Brookes.

Byron Sellick, 20, Jake Sanbrook, aged 23, and Julian Falconer, 20, all from Walsall were all in the Ford Focus during the drive-by shooting of Connor in Well Lane, Blakenall, on July 8, last year.

Sellick, Sanbrook and Falconer were found guilty of murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm. Samuel Danks-Petty, 23, was found guilty of intent to pervert the course of justice. Wolverhampton Crown Court heard during a six week trial the targeting of Connor Brookes was part of a tit-for-tat war between Walsall gangs. Connor was shot in revenge for the murder of Bailey Atkinson two years ago after his brother Patrick was one of seven young men found guilty of stabbing Bailey to death in Walsall town centre.
Mehakdeep Singh and Sehajpal Singh

Mehakdeep Singh, 24, and Sehajpal Singh, 26, both of Tipton, were both jailed for life after executing a DPD driver by luring him to a residential street in Shrewsbury.
DPD driver Aurman Singh, 23, was hacked to death by seven men who were armed with an axe, a hockey stick, a knife, a golf club and a shovel, on August 21, 2023.
After a trial at Stafford Crown Court both Singhs were found guilty of murder. They murdered their victim, described as a loving family man, over an argument at a Kabaddi tournament days before.
