The Bilash on Cheapside in Wolverhampton city centre has been putting together a full lunchtime menu ahead of the relaunch of the lunch service on Monday, May 12.

The Michelin-rated and multiple award-winning restaurant, which specialises in high quality Indian and Bengali cuisine, had previously run a lunchtime service, but halted it due to lockdown being imposed in March 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Owner Mo Khan said the restaurant had been waiting for the right time to bring back the service and, after seeing more businesses and clients returning back to the office in Wolverhampton, said it was the right time.

He said: "We are reopening for lunch from May 12 and  this has now come to light as most businesses and clients are back in town.

"This decision has also been made because of encouragement from all of our clients.

"The lunch menu is all set and shall be available to eat in and takeaway."

Served from 12pm to 3pm, the menu features Bilash signature dishes such as Butter Chicken and Bengal Chilli Murgh, but also offers lighter bites such as Bombay Sandwich, full of chicken tikka or Bombay potato, and Samosa Chaat.
