Coseley man Kevin Timmins left the area after his relationship broke down last year but returned in December to make his ex-wife's life a misery. After parking on her driveway, ramming her front door, following her and besieging her with phone calls and messages he eventually strangled her during a week of violence in January.

Timmins broke into her Tipton home and kicked the front door several times. He also drove his vehicle at the house and even at her when she left the house. In one week in January the police were called five times due to Timmins' menacing behaviour.

His reign of terror finally ended when he was remanded in custody after failing to surrender to the police.

Timmins pleaded guilty to stalking, assault, breaching a non-molestation order, failing to surrender to the police and failing to provide a sample of breath whilst in charge of a vehicle.
