Roads on new 520-home Lichfield estate get names

Names have been assigned to roads which will form part of 520 new homes on a new Lichfield estate later this year.

The properties are set to be constructed at Cricket Lane and were approved in October last year, with building already under way.

Lichfield District Council has now said it intends to make an order assigning the following names to roads which will form the estate which will also comprise 35 per cent of affordable homes.

The roads will be called: Ashbridge Way; Emery Crescent; Grant Drivel Sedgwick Street; Deny Road; Foster Close; Cook Lane; Jakeman Drive; Irwin Avenue; Humphries Lane; Brace Road; Lamb Close; Macpherson Drive; Banton Croft; Nicholls Avenue; Payne Close; Thorneloe Way and Ridgway Croft.

A plan showing the roads concerned is available for inspection at www.lichfieldc.gov.uk.
