Vauxhall car taken off the road by police in Cannock for having 'a number of defects'

A driver has seen their car taken off the road by police after it was found to have "a number of defects".

The purple Vauxhall was pulled over by officers from Staffordshire Police's Road Crime Team in Cannock on Saturday afternoon (April 26).

After examining the car, officers found a number of defects, which included the rear spoiler, window tints and a tinted number plate, and prohibited the car from the road.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "This Vauxhall was stopped in the Cannock Police area.

"On examining the vehicle the a number of defects were discovered (rear spoiler, window tints, tinted number plate) resulting in the Vauxhall being prohibited."
