Klajdi Mehalla, 35, of Birkenhead, Merseyside, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

It comes after officers from Staffordshire Police's major and organised crime proactive teams stopped a man in the driver’s seat of a car in Rugeley yesterday afternoon (Thursday, April 24). Two phones and cocaine were found after a search and the car was seized.

Mehalla was due to appear at Newcastle-under-Lyme Magistrates Court today (Friday).
