Disqualified driver Daniel Wilkins was spotted by a patrol car leaving the M6 at Junction 7 in Great Barr at 11.30pm on November 7, last year.
Ignoring instructions to pull over, Wilkins, 30, put his foot down and drove his Ford Transit full throttle down the Birmingham Road as police enlisted the help of any nearby units to join the pursuit.
Wilkins, from Bankside, Great Barr, could not dodge a stinger deployed by waiting police officers.
After successfully deflating three tyres officers expected Wilkins to pull over.
However, footage shown at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday (Thursday) showed Wilkins drove for a further ten minutes down the Newton and Hamstead Roads until his trusty Transit could take no more and broke down. He then tried to run away only to be captured moments later.
