Stafford man due in crown court after drugs and cash seized in searches

A 30-year-old Stafford man has been arrested after quantities of illegal drugs and cash were allegedly discovered after a car was stopped on the M6 in Walsall.

Delveer Sadhra has been charged with four counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug, two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class B drug and one count of possessing criminal property.

Staffordshire Police said the arrest came after its roads policing unit and major and organised proactive team stopped a car on M6 in Walsall and found £634 in cash on April 16.

Staffordshire Police has asked for anyone with any information about the disorder to get in touch

Officers then made a further arrest in Stafford and searched a home in the area and found the drugs.

Sadhra is next due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on May 19.
