Motorcyclist who died in Lichfield crash named as family thank community for 'their kindness'
The family of a motorcyclist who died in a crash have thanked the community for their kindness and support.

Simon Laker, aged 56 and of Burntwood, died after a crash involving a motorbike on Friday, April 11, on Stafford Road, Lichfield.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 1pm, however, it was found that nothing could be done to save the 56-year-old, with paramedics pronouncing him dead at the scene a short while later.
Now, Simon's mum and her partner have paid tribute to the late biker, also thanking the community for their support during this difficult time.

Simon's mum said: "We would like to express our thanks to his family and friends for all their kind messages and support at this very sad time."
Simon's family continues to be supported by specialist officers.
The force has again appealed for information relating to the crash, asking anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers are continuing to appeal for information and anyone with relevant dashcam footage should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 319 of April 11."
