Dudley Building Society in the finals of the British Bank Awards 2025

The building society has been shortlisted for Best Building Society and Best Building Society Savings Provider at the awards which are sponsored by leading financial services review platform Smart Money People.

The recognition is the result of votes by satisfied customers, with nine out of 10 saying they would recommend Dudley Building Society.

The nominations recognise the society’s strength as a mutual and its focus on building a strong community of savers. 

Chief executive James Paterson said: “Being named a finalist in two categories is a real honour and reflects the hard work of our retail team in branches and across the Society

“As a mutual, we are incredibly proud to see so many of our members share positive experiences. We will continue building a strong foothold in our local communities.”

The Society, which has branches in Brierley Hill, Gornal, Kingswinford and Perton with plans to launch a new branch in Bridgnorth this spring, will find out later this year whether it has won the awards.

Dudley Building Society offers a range of competitive products for personal and business customers including a one year fixed rate ISA at 4.15 per cent, an 18 month fixed rate bond at 4.20 per cent and a business two year fixed rate bond at 4.10 per cent.
