'Please allow extra travel time' - Metro passengers warned of busy services as Albion take on Derby
West Midlands Metro has advised passengers allow more time to travel as busy services are expected following the West Bromwich Albion match against Derby.

The tram operator said it expects its services to be busier this afternoon (Monday, April 21) following the Championship game.
The match is being held at The Hawthorns stadium in West Bromwich.
Writing to X, formerly Twitter, at 2pm, West Midlands Metro said: "Trams are operating from every 12 minutes between Wolverhampton Station and Edgbaston Village.

"We expect our trams to be busier than usual this afternoon, post match at The Hawthorns.
"We have extra trams in service to assist. Please allow extra travel time."
