West Bromwich has been blighted by speeding cars and car cruising events as well as several car accidents within the last year.
A Sandwell Council public notice posted this week said: "The authority is proposing to build a toucan pedestrian crossing at Kelvin Way, West Bromwich, 20 metres west of Spon Lane junction.
