Teenager charged after cyclist hit by car in Walsall

A teenager has been charged after allegedly driving his car at a cyclist in Walsall.

The 17-year-old boy, who can't be named due to his age, was arrested on Friday (April 18) after allegedly driving his vehicle at a teenage cyclist in Mossley Lane and crashing into him.

He has been charged with attempted wounding with intent, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, and failing to stop for officers.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court on Monday.
