Photos show extent of fire damage to Perton home as woman airlifted to hospital
A woman was airlifted to hospital following a fire at a house near Wolverhampton that has been left badly damaged.

Fire crews were called to a house at The Parkway near St Andrews Drive in Perton just before 4pm on Tuesday (April 15) following reports of a house fire.
Four engines attended the scene where they found a fire on the first floor of the property.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called by the fire service after a woman was found outside the property with serious injuries.
An ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford with medics on board responded to the scene.
The patient was airlifted to a special burns unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Firefighters used hose reel jets and breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire.
An investigation into the cause will take place in due course.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Ambulance staff arrived to find the woman out of the house with serious injuries. She received advanced trauma care by the team of medics on scene before being airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.”
Staffordshire Police has been asked for comment.
